Privacy Policy

Iliad Aligned does not collect any personal data.
The app runs entirely on your device. It does not require an account, does not display advertising, and does not include analytics or tracking frameworks of any kind. Nothing about you, your device, or your reading is transmitted anywhere.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the following locally so it can do its job:
- Reading position: the book, passage, and line you last had open.
- Settings: your text size, color theme, default column layout, and similar preferences.
- Bookmarks and notes: any passages you bookmark and any notes you attach to them.
This data never leaves your device. If you delete the app, it is removed with the app.
Optional iCloud sync
The current version of the app does not sync to iCloud. If a future version adds optional iCloud sync for bookmarks or notes, it will be opt-in and this policy will be updated accordingly.
Network access
The app does not make network requests during normal use. All text, dictionaries, alignments, and audio resources are bundled with the app. No third-party servers are contacted.
Children
Iliad Aligned is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children (or from anyone else).
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes in a way that affects users, the "Last updated" date above will change and any material changes will be reflected in the app release notes.
